Van Dusen ranks on Barron's list of advisers

Pittsford’s Lori Van Dusen ranks 78th on Barron’s list of top 100 independent financial advisers announced this week.

Van Dusen, owner and principal at LVW Advisors LLC on Monroe Avenue, manages assets of over $3 billion. Her typical account is $50 million from entities with a typical net worth of $75 million, data included on the list shows.

The rankings are compiled using assets under management, revenues generated for the firms and the quality of practice by advisors and their teams, the magazine says.

Van Dusen is the only representative from the Rochester area on the list.
