The LPGA Symetra Tour’s Credit Union Classic, sponsored in part by Rochester’s Wegmans Food Markets Inc. and the Summit Federal Credit Union, is slated for July at a Syracuse country club, officials announced.

It runs July 22 to 28 at the Drumlins Country Club.

The Symetra Tour—formerly the Futures Tour—is the LPGA’s development tour for women golfers. The Credit Union Classic is in its 18th year.

“The Credit Union Classic presented by Wegmans offers more than professional golf,” Summit President Michael Vadala said in a statement.

It gives businesses a tool for networking with customers and employees, is an enjoyable event for the community, and allows credit union employees to help benefit the First Tee of Syracuse charity, he said.

The tournament has raised more than $500,000 for charity, officials said. Featuring 140 U.S. and international players, it begins July 26.
